There are two schools of thought on mudguards; those who like the clean uninterrupted lines of their bike, and the rest of us who'd prefer not to get wet and dirty. If you're the latter, then this is the section for you. Featured below are a variety of road, cyclocross & MTB mudguards, for a range of wheel sizes and fixings.

The first consideration should be wheel diameter, as most guards are designed for a specific sizing (Hint: Road Cycling will probably be 700c, and MTB will be either 26", 27.5" (650b) or 29").

Secondly you need to check that the guard will fit your frame and fork - certain models may require bolting to your frame, and if you don't have the correct fixing points then you'll have to resort to an ugly cable tie solution!

Thirdly, ensure that the guard actually fits your frame and fork in terms of width - some bikes don't have much tyre clearance. Finally, read some reviews to make sure they do everything the manufacturer promises.
