Featuring a host of features to keep you safer when you crash, the Moab Elbow Pads protective credentials are hard to beat.
It starts with high modulus thermoplastic protectors, derived from the MotoGP world, to provide a high degree of impact and slide protection.
These are backed up by Dual-density Biofoam padding, dispersing the damaging forces of an impact. The foam is vented to enhance cooling and comfort. The sleeve itself is highly flexible to facilitate easy movement on the bike and it has adjustable straps and silicone prints to maintain a snug and secure fit over any terrain.
The articulate protective plates also allow a full range of movement, so you're never left feeling restricted when navigating rocky and rooty mountain bike trails. Articulated plates enable a full range of arm movement while riding. Exclusive, MotoGP derived high modulus thermoplastic protectors for unrivalled protection against impacts.
Dual-density Biofoam - excellent impact absorption properties, vented for comfort and cooling. CE certified. Adjustable Velcro (R) strap system conforms to the shape of the elbow.

Protection, in cycling terms, covers everything from elbow, ankle, knee and shin pads, as well as more heavy duty items designed to prevent serious injury to your neck and spine. Essentially it has two purposes - the first being the obvious; to offer support and covering to the areas of your body which most likely to be prone to injury in the event of a crash. Secondly, they need to be practical to pedal in - wrapping yourself in bubble wrap might make you 100% safe, but it definitely won't be practical to ride in! I won't claim to have every item listed, but I do try to keep my cycling protection section stocked up with the latest deals, so hopefully there might be an item or two which can help save your poor battered body next time you stack it!
