For 2021, the Boardman MHT 8.6 gets updated to 29 inch wheels, delivering the same fast rolling and confidence inspiring handling as the 8.8 and 8.9 higher up the range.
Perfect for trail centre fun and long days of cross-country exploring, the MHT 8.6 is a great all-rounder for UK riding. Shimano's new Deore M4100 10 speed gearing with 32t chainring and 11-46t cassette gives a small crawler gear for steep climbs, with plenty of top end range for flying down descents. Suntour's Raidon air-sprung fork offers 120mm of highly tuneable travel to cope with whatever trails you chose.
Tekrto HD-M285 hydraulic disc brakes keep speed under control, and combine with Vittoria's aggressive cross-country tread Barzo tyres to help navigate steep and technical terrain. Highlights Shimano Deore M4100 1x10 gearing with an 11-46T cassette giving a great range. Light but strong hidden-weld alloy frame with trail geometry and dropper post routing.
Suntour Raidon XC Air Fork with 120mm of travel. Tektro M285 hydraulic disc brakes for controlled and reliable stopping. Boardman Tubeless ready wheelset with grippy Vittoria Barzo tyres.
