Our desire? Finally making an accessible and good urban bike that's agile, fast, and compatible with fixie use (flip flop hub). A lightweight, fast, single-speed bike that's perfect for city rides. An agile bike with narrow handlebars and a short stem for weaving everywhere.

Cartridge brakes for a feeling of confidence on your bike. Wide tyres and a good grip on the pedals for riding with confidence. A Flip Flop hub for transitioning to fixie by buying a fixed gear and locknut.

Want to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible? A single speed is made for you. At just 11.6 kg, this bike offers all the light weight you need for riding quickly through town. The streamlined design, stiff steel frame, and 44x18 development give it the responsiveness you're looking for.

It was designed with high-quality components for the best feelings as you ride. With its steel fork, the single speed 500 absorbs impacts perfectly, easily tackling kerbs and other obstacles to tame the city! Its 520mm aluminium handlebars, as well as the 60mm aluminium stem, are assets for weaving through town as they increase your bike's responsiveness. Its 18T freewheel specific to FIXIE/BMX 30 steps (rather than 20 for a standard freewheel) provides better performance and balance.

While the speed 500 lets you ride fast, it also has excellent braking. Its calliper-type road brakes with cartridge pads increase the rigidity of the levers and provide better responsiveness and effective braking. This bike has aluminium wheels with double-walled rims, and its tyres (30 TPI weave) have nylon protection that greatly increases their puncture resistance.

The bike is sold as a single speed. If you want to use it as a fixie, it has a flip/flop compatible rear hub. To switch to fixie mode, you need to buy the screw-on fixed cog (24 TPI threading, 1.37" diameter, standard) and the locknut (24 TPI, 1.29" diameter).

Then turn the wheel. Frame made from Hi Ten steel with 120 mm axle for the rear wheel. Fork made from Hi Ten steel with 100 mm axle for the front wheel.

622x17C ETRTO double-walled Wheel allowing you to use 25 to 37 mm tyres. 700x32 mm skinwall 30 TPI TYRE with nylon anti-puncture protection. Flip flop Hub at the rear for switching to a fixed cog.

B'Twin Bikes

B'Twin are a popular choice of bike in the UK, partly due to their widespread distribution by Decathlon, and partly due to the value they offer. Their bikes are divided into several slightly overlapping ranges, with Triban best known for road and gravel bikes, and Rockrider gaining a reputation for high performing MTBs to suit every budget. Elops largely consist of a range of city bikes, whereas Riverside focus on hybrids. Elops Hybrid Bikes

The Elops series of bikes from Decathlon comprise of traditional city bikes and hybrids, with men's and ladies versions available for most models.

This range are designed for road use in the urban environment; ideal for casual cyclists and commuters.

The majority of these bicycles were originally badged as "B'Twin Bikes" prior to 2018, when a rebranding policy led to each type of bike receiving a new label. The Elops bike range also includes a handful of electric city bikes for those who'd like a helping hand when ascending hills.
