Ride around town regularly. and enjoy it! Go for a ride in the city with this fully-equipped, safe, comfortable roadster bike! With its low frame, pannier rack, basket, and dynamo, your rides are even easier.
User comfort: Ride comfortably thanks to the seated position typical of roadsters.
Ease of use: Make your ride enjoyable: pannier rack, basket, anti-twist coil, 6 speeds.
Bike safety: This is a safer bike thanks to its built-in LED lights and durable tyres.
Lifetime warranty: Keep it for a long time: lifetime warranty on the frame, stem, handlebar & fork.
Compatibility: Ride in pairs: the pannier rack was designed to hold a stationary baby carrier.
What is a low frame for?: "You don't have to work out or practise yoga to mount this bike! Especially if you have attached a baby carrier to the back. We are offering a city bike with a steel frame and low standover height to make your rides simpler and more practical.
The City hybrid bike geometry lets your ride with a straight back.
It also has a lifetime warranty! And the sizing? S/M : 1.55m - 1.75 m, 28-inch wheels; L / XL: 1.75m - 1.95 m, 28-inch wheels." Drivetrain: Your Elops 520 bike has 6 speeds on an external derailleur for improved versatility on reasonable inclines. Hills and accelerating after a red light become child's play.
Brakes: For efficient, safe braking, we have equipped your bike with aluminium front and rear calliper V-brakes.
Handlebar / stem / steering: "The Elops 500 is equipped with a steering spring in addition to steel handlebars with ergonomic geometry and an aluminium damper stem (for lighter weight).
The result? You are more comfortable while riding and the handlebars do not swing to the side once you lean the bike on the stand." A steel seat post and a comfortable seat:: "The steel seat post further absorbs vibrations and the screw-in seat clamp collar limits the risk of theft.
And the seat? This is our favourite part: after numerous tests, we chose this wide saddle whose foam padding has variable hardness to adapt to the pressure of your body in the saddle.
Why this one? Because it is by far the most comfortable!" Wheels: The Elops 520 has 28-inch wheels with a single-wall rim and raw aluminium spokes. To protect your spokes and avoid flat tyres, we recommend inflating your tyres to a pressure between 3.5 and 4.5 bars.
And to prevent the risk of theft during your activities in town, the wheel is attached with a locknut hub.
Tyres: "We chose very wide tyres (45mm) so that you can ride comfortably in town: a smooth rolling bike that can easily drive over small obstacles along the way.
Not even cobblestones, sewer drains, potholes, or tramway rails can make you lose your balance! Inner tubes are equipped with car valves: you can inflate your tires at a service station.
To avoid flat tires, we recommend keeping your tyres at a constant pressure between 3.5 and 4.5 bars (depending on your weight) Accessories and fittings to make your journey easier:: "We added a couple of details to make your urban rides easier:. The stand is on the rear wheel to stay out of the way while pedalling. The pannier rack can hold 27kg (the standard for supporting a baby carrier) and the rack can hold 7kg.
With the front and rear LED lighting (powered by bottle dynamo), you can say goodbye to batteries: light extends to 30m in front of and 150m behind you. The bike also has mudguards and a chain guard so that you can arrive at work spotless.
Bike weight: Size S/M = 19.1 kg.
Size L/XL = 19.45 kg.

B'Twin Bikes
B'Twin are a popular choice of bike in the UK, partly due to their widespread distribution by Decathlon, and partly due to the value they offer. Their bikes are divided into several slightly overlapping ranges, with Triban best known for road and gravel bikes, and Rockrider gaining a reputation for high performing MTBs to suit every budget. Elops largely consist of a range of city bikes, whereas Riverside focus on hybrids. All in all, B'Twin bikes are well worth checking out given the size of their ranges; there's a model to suit most budgets.
Elops Hybrid Bikes
The Elops series of bikes from Decathlon comprise of traditional city bikes and hybrids, with men's and ladies versions available for most models.
This range are designed for road use in the urban environment; ideal for casual cyclists and commuters.
The majority of these bicycles were originally badged as "B'Twin Bikes" prior to 2018, when a rebranding policy led to each type of bike receiving a new label. The Elops bike range also includes a handful of electric city bikes for those who'd like a helping hand when ascending hills.
