A UNISEX MOUNTAIN BIKE: Men's or women's mountain bike?. This Rockrider XC 100 S is unisex. For greater comfort, the women on our mountain bike team recommend replacing the stock saddle with the Women's 500 Sport saddle, which is adapted to the female form.

CHOOSING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE SIZE: Comes in several sizes: S: between 1.50 m and 1.64 m.

M: between 1.65 m and 1.74 m.

L: between 1.75m and 1.84 m.

XL: between 1.85 m and 1.95 m. If your height is on the cusp of the 2 sizes, we recommend the bike that matches your height exactly.

A WORD FROM THE TEAM: Designed and created entirely in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the labours of an expert team of passionate cross-country mountain bikers.

To ensure the best quality, this bike is assembled in our factory located at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France).

Frame: This Rockrider Cross Country frame offers 120 mm of travel on the rear wheel. Its geometry has been optimised for performance, with a 69.5 degrees steering angle.

Made of 6061 and 6013 aluminium.

Lifetime warranty on the Switch & Ride frame: Compatible with 27.5 "and 27.5" PLUS wheels. Boost 148 mm x 12 mm rear axle.

Press Fit 92 bottom bracket. Seat tube has a 31.6 mm diameter and can take a telescoping seat post. Can hold a bottle cage.

FRONT SUSPENSION: Make obstacles disappear. Manitou Markhor front suspension with 120mm of travel, with an exclusive adjustment for the XC 100 S.

Hydraulic suspension is both sensitive to small impacts (absorbs the slightest bumps at low speed) and large obstacles. Front suspension with handlebar lockout (in intermediate or locked position) using the Combo Lock 2 handle. Compatible with 27.5" and 27.5" PLUS wheels.

REAR SUSPENSION: Easily adjust your riding path and keep up your speed, especially in technical sections. Manitou Radium Expert rear suspension with 120 mm travel, specifically updated for the Rockrider XC 100 S mountain bike. Direct locking rear suspension (in intermediate position or locked) on the handlebar using the COMBO LOCK 2 handle, that locks the front and rear suspensions simultaneously.

Drivetrain: The XC100 S uses technologies from the SRAM NX EAGLE groupset. The SRAM NX 1x12 drive train ensures light weight, durability, precision, and better control of your mountain bike.

Chainwheel dimensions: 34 teeth.

SRAM PG1230 cassette with 12 cogs: 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 22, 25, 28, 32, 36, 42, 50 teeth. The 50-tooth sprocket guarantees good gear reduction to help you climb the steepest sections.

HANDLEBAR / STEM / STEERING / GRIPS: Keep stable and find your attack position.

The Rockrider Comp Flat handlebar is 720 mm wide for more stability. B'Twin Comp stem, resized for each frame size (70 mm in size S, 80 mm in size M, 90 mm in size L, and 100 mm in size XL). Semi-integrated headset with sealed bearings.

Lightweight, "lock on" style Rockrider 900 grips that screw onto the handlebar.

SADDLE / SEAT POST: Enjoy greater comfort when pedalling. The ROCKRIDER XC / AM saddle weighs 265 g.

Reinforcements plus the Ergofit system for added comfort. The seat post is 31.6 x 400 to allow compatibility with telescopic posts.

BRAKES: Hydraulic disc brakes for incisive and progressive braking.

SRAM Level hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm front disc and 160 mm rear disc.

WHEELS: 29" SWITCH & RIDE wheels: choose speed and inertia!. Sun Ringle Duroc 30 SRC Tubeless Ready wheels, with Boost axles, 15 mm at the front and 12 mm at the rear.

Inner rim width: 30 mm. Sealed bearings. Equipped with a watertight rim strip that is Tubeless Ready compatible.

To switch to Tubeless Ready: add a Tubeless valve, preventative liquid, and replace the original tyre with the same model in Tubeless Ready (available in Decathlon stores).

TYRES: Grip and move over all types of terrain. Hutchinson TORO 2 tyres in 29 x 2.10.

Versatile tyres designed for riding on any terrain: smooth, rocky, dry, muddy, etc. More lugs to increase riding performance. High side lugs provide good grip in turns.

PEDALS: The bike comes with B'Twin Flat Evo platform pedals. However, for better performance when pedalling, we recommend replacing them with clipless platform pedals (not included).

EASILY TRANSPORT AND STORE YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE: The front and rear wheels attach and remove in 1 motion: you just need a hex key (size 6).

The rear derailleur has a screed that locks and unlocks easily to easily attach or remove the rear wheel.

WEIGHT: 13.4 kg in size S, without pedals. 13,5 kg in size M, without pedals.

13.6 kg in size L, without pedals. 13.7 kg in size XL, without pedals. Weight can vary based on the tolerance of the components.

The bike comes with B'Twin Flat Evo platform pedals. Total weight (bike + equipped rider) should not exceed 120 kg.

B'Twin Bikes

B'Twin are a popular choice of bike in the UK, partly due to their widespread distribution by Decathlon, and partly due to the value they offer. Their bikes are divided into several slightly overlapping ranges, with Triban best known for road and gravel bikes, and Rockrider gaining a reputation for high performing MTBs to suit every budget. Elops largely consist of a range of city bikes, whereas Riverside focus on hybrids. All in all, B'Twin bikes are well worth checking out given the size of their ranges; there's a model to suit most budgets.

Rockrider Mountain Bikes

Rockrider are Decathlon's off-road offerings, comprising of a series of kids bikes and adult hardtails, full suspension steeds and even a handful of high end E-MTBs.

This brand was launched in 2018, when Decathlon decided to split their B'Twin bikes into different genres. In terms of prices, there's something for everyone, with adult's MTBs starting at just over £200 and rising up to high end lightweight race bikes at nearly the £4000 mark.
