The Vengeance is Carrera's best-selling bike, and much of the design and technology that makes it so popular has been filtered into this junior version. Importantly, it's been optimised specifically for junior riders with a lightweight aluminium frame and wheelset that are easy to manoeuvre, important when developing control while riding off road.

It's also easy to alter the fit for your child thanks to an adjustable seatpost and brake levers. This seatpost is also paired with a memory foam saddle to increase comfort. Of course, the Vengeance is at home when riding off road, and it's prepared for any adventure with a terrain-taming front suspension and Kenda Kadre tyres that also benefit from added puncture protection.

Whatever the terrain, your child will always have enough gears thanks to Shimano Altus 16-speed gearing. The trigger shifters are fast and efficient so finding the right gear is easy, and the 2x chainset means less gear shifts and more focus on the trail ahead. Carrera bikes are known for their exceptional value, and are largely priced under £600, making them both accessible and appealing to the British public.

Carrera Vengeance Mountain Bikes

Carrera Vengeance are a selection of 6061 alloy Mountain Bikes, featuring 8sp Shimano Altus Groupsets, 100mm Suntour XCM Forks, Disc Brakes & 27.5" wheels, for sale @ £300-£400, and £1100 for the E-Bike. The Carrera Vengeance range consists of the incredibly popular men's Vengeance, an entry level hardtail mountain bike, with a women's specific model also available. Carrera also have introduced a Junior 26" wheel model for younger riders, as well as a men's and women's e-bike to complete the series. These e-bikes appear very similar to the regular Vengeance models, but with a downtube mounted battery fitted where the bottle cage would be, with the motor located by the bottom bracket. All Vengeance models feature the same relaxed geometry with slack head angles to enable you to traverse across roots and rocks effectively. Apart from the aforementioned Junior model, the rest of the range utilise 27.5" (650b) wheels.
