For riders with a flexible lower back, the pelvis remains in a more level stance in the cycling posture. The flat profile is designed to support weight though the sit bones in this position. A shallow pressure relief channel helps distribute weight away from the softer tissue.

The 140mm width has been tailored to accommodate the spacing of the sit bones with sufficient area to distribute pressure and offer comfort and stability. The shape quickly graduates to a narrow 40mm nose to eliminate interference with the inner thigh during the pedal stroke. Beneath the waterproof microfibre cover is a layer of high density EVA foam padding.

This works in combination with the solid nylon fibre base to provide a firm, minimally cushioned platform with a small degree of flex.
