Its design, geometries and the materials utilised are optimised for use with a disc brake.

The IDOL frame is made from SUPER HI-MODULUS fibre with a blend of T1000 (70%) and T800 (30%) , thereby guaranteeing structural rigidity, absorption capacity and lightness to their maximum. The same qualities that have made the Racing 5 such a popular wheelset in the past, combined with new elements, make for an affordable but race ready wheel. The front wheel has a rim height of 24mm and delivers optimal handling whilst the rear has a rim height of 27.5mm and allows better transmitting of your power to the wheel. The asymmetrical rear rim profile allows for better balancing of spoke tensions between drive and non drive side, giving better symmetry to an asymmetric component.
