2016 Fulcrum Red Power 29 inch HP CL Wheels
They are a robust and easy to handle wheel that is able to absorb the shocks from the terrain and maintain good traction.
Dynamic is the key word used to develop these mtb wheels.
They are the outcome developed using the top end technology in a more all-round performance package to improve the Red Power XL wheels. This is the 29'' Centrelock model of the Red Power wheelset, it is also available in 27.5'', with AFS (Axial Fixing System) and with XD (for Sram XX1) freehub. These wheels do not only represent significant performance increases but also improvements in versatility and compatibility.
The rear hub features an interchangable oversized axle system which makes it compatible with all standards and drivetrains, without having to change the main body. This means QR/135mm, H12/142mm and HH12/135mm are all available for both the Shimano/Sram 9-10 Speed as well as XD (for Sram XX1) freehub bodies, simply by changing adaptors. The hub bodies are made entirely of aluminum which combined with an oversized axle enhances both power transfer and reactivity along with Sealed bearings helping withstand the effects of hard use over time.
The new rims having been lightened and reinforced at every point needed, giving a much better feeling wheel at a lighter weight. The hub and rim are laced together using Burnished Rounded, straight pull, Stainless steel spokes designed to maintain torsional rigidity and provide proper shock absorption. The differentiated thickness of the spokes shows how with Red Power HP Fulcrum aim to achieve excellence even in details.
