The Force is an all mountain machine fast enough to win Enduro World Series races, light enough to spend all day on your local trails.
GT's Angle-Optimised Suspension (A.O.S) platform is designed to be the best pedalling system tailored for riding everything from CX to heavy all mountain usage.
The Force utilises this to great effect, combining the 160mm travel fork and 150mm rear shock to create a bike that is well equipped for ripping descents and then climbing back up to go again! FOC Ultra Carbon Technology FOC Ultra takes a minimalist approach to carbon fabrication by using the fewest layers of high-modulus carbon possible to achieve a stiff, reliable, responsive ride. In other words, light enough for our peloton ready machines, burly enough for GT's All-mountain range of bikes. Shimano/Race Face 1x11 Speed Drivetrain The Shimano XT/Race Face drivetrain is the perfect combination of performance and durability, with the XT shadow plus rear derailleur to cancel out the chain slap, all powered by XT shifters.
The 1x11 speed system is driven by a set of Race Face Aeffect cranks, with their CNC machined cranks alloy arms and a 30t narrow wide chainring to reduce weight and maintain strength. All of these will ensure the classic Shimano reliable shifting and performance but keep you supported when battling the mountains.Shimano SLX Hydraulic Disc Brakes The Force is designed to be ridden fast, when riding fast you need to know you can stop. So GT kitted the the Force up with Shimano SLX hydraulic brakes, with 180mm center lock rotors giving you the braking power you need no matter what the weather or terrain you're trying to defeat.Race Face Finishing Kit Finishing kit is by Race Face, set up with 6061 aluminum handlebars, stem, and seat post.
Topped off with a WTB Silverado saddle for that little bit more comfort.
