Whether youre scuba diving to 100 metres or skydiving from 15,000 feet, the Edge is the must-have accessory for adrenaline junkies, extreme sports enthusiasts and anyone with a sense of adventure.

The housing specifically designed for this camera comes with two exchangeable plugs. The first plug allows you to film water-based activities like scuba diving, surfing and wakeboarding. Providing an IP68 rating, the housing is waterproof to a depth of 100 metres, meaning you can take your camera virtually anywhere without fear of water damage.

The second plug contains a small diaphragm that allows sound to travel more easily to the camera. This provides an improved quality of recorded sound. With the second plug, the housing provides an IP66 rating, making it water resistant, ideal for use on the beach, when camping, or during wet weather conditions.

The choice of two plugs gives you flexibility to use the housing for different conditions and activities and combines with the range of mounts and accessories. Record High Definition Videos and Take Great Quality Photos From abseiling down a mountain to potholing through a cave, some experiences are too good to be forgotten. But with the Edge HD30W action camera, they wont be.

The Edge shoots full high definition video, recording in 1080p at 30FPS. For smooth filming when the action is fast, the Edge can also record at 60FPS, allowing you to capture even the quickest downhill run. Automatic white balance and exposure help you to achieve perfect footage every time and if you need to mount the camera upside down, the built-in G-sensor will automatically correct the picture to ensure your video is filmed the right way up, but wont activate once recording has started.

For still images, as well as taking 8 megapixel photos in Single Shot and Fast Shot modes at up to 10 frames per second, when set to Timed Shooting, the Edge will take a photo after three, five or 10 seconds. Add to that a 175 degree wide angle lens and 10 x digital zoom and you can rest assured youre not missing any of the action. Other Features The camera comes with a wide range of essential accessories, including mounts to attach it to a board or a helmet and a detachable TFT screen so you can monitor exactly what youre filming.

And thanks to the Edges built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, you can transfer files to your PC or mobile device wirelessly and the Wi-Fi remote access enables control of your camera from a distance of up to 100 metres. Alongside your main video file, the Edge HD30W automatically saves an optimised video file for easy uploading to social media sites and by downloading the free iOS or Android App, you can turn your smartphone into a viewfinder to watch recorded action or stream live. With its high capacity, rechargeable battery, the Edge HD30W is capable of filming continuously for three hours and can be recharged by connecting the camera to a PC, Mac or other power source using the supplied USB cable.

A micro SD or micro SDHC card is required to store recorded video, photographs and data and this model supports cards up to 64 GB.
