The Merlin Malt G2X is our top of the range aluminium gravel frameset, it is also available as a full bike built with Shimano GRX.
The third generation of our versatile gravel bike range features tweaked geometry, offering more comfort and stability as well as a more inclusive sizing range. With improved geometry and the simply effortless performance, the Merlin Malt G2X is our best aluminium gravel bike frameset yet! The Merlin Malt G2X can handle a wide variety of terrain including muddy trails, gravel tracks and green lanes. This flexibility allows you to combine roads with a wide variety of other more challenging forms of terrain.
Your adventures are no longer limited by your style of bike, open up flexibility in your rides and enjoy the pleasure and challenges which mixed terrain rides can offer. The Merlin Malt G2X features a lightweight, hydroformed, Triple Butted Aluminium frame with 12mm thru-axles front and rear. Thru-axles ensure the connection between wheels and frameset is secure and solid, disc brakes are always perfectly aligned and stearing precision is enhanced due to the wheel hubs and frameset essentially becoming one unit.
The head-tube and fork steerer taper from 1.125" to 1.5", this further enhances the 'surefooted' feel of the front end of the bike. The Malt G2X features flat-mounts for disc brakes and internal cable routing for brake and gear cables giving a cleaner, less cluttered look. Internal cable routing also offers enhanced protection from grit and grime, this means your bike's cables will work smoothly for longer.

Fork: Carbon, Flat Mount, 1.125 - 1.5" tapered steerer.
BB: Threaded BSA.
Compatible with mechanical or electronic drivetrain. Compatible with 1X and 2X transmission.
Fits: 31.6mm seatpost (not included).
