The Pinnacle Arkose is the benchmark for versatility.
It's been conquering mountain passes long before you were told you needed a "Gravel" bike just to go off tarmac. A real drop-bar legend on the dirt. With clearance for 700x47c or 650Bx50 tyres, triple bottle cage mounts, internal cable routing compatible with electronic groupsets and dynamo lights, full coverage mudguard and pannier rack mounts, The Pinnacle Arkose could be the perfect companion for cycling off into the sunset.
Or just to the shops. As we said, this is one versatile bike. For 2021 we've simplified the line-up, updated the geometry and made it unisex to make it easier for you to find the right Arkose for you.
The Arkose 1 comes equipped with Shimano's durable Claris R2000 drivetrain with a sub-compact 48-32T Adventure chainset from FSA and wide range 11-34T 8 speed cassette. Paired with Tektro's confidence inspiring MD-C510 flat-mount cable disc brakes, the Arkose 1 is a perfect entry to capable drop-bar bikes. WTB's "ultimate all-weather gravel tire", the Resolute 42mm is matched to their ST i19 TCS 2.0 rims for fantastic performance for the price.

16 speed Shimano Claris offers an excellent starting point for drop bar groupsets with improved looks, shifting performance and gear range over lower tier groupsets. Tektro MD-C510 flat mount mechanical disc brakes offer consistent braking across varying terrains and weather whilst being easy to maintain and set up at home. WTB Resolute 42mm tyres are excellent in all weathers and offer good comfort on a variety of surfaces.
