Pivot sweat the details-painstakingly developing the precise mix of resins, composite fibers, lay-orientation and frame shaping to create a chassis with the perfect blend of strength and stiffness.
The Trail 429 carbon features many of the same strength and stiffness-enhancing features that you'll find on other Pivot gravity-oriented bikes, including a double-wishbone rear triangle, Super Boost Plus rear axle spacing, ultra-wide suspension linkages and burly bearing assemblies. With the Trail 429, Pivot upped the ante on downhill performance without any loss in versatility. Full carbon frame featuring leading-edge materials and Pivot's proprietary, hollow core, internal molding technology.
Designed for a 130mm - 140mm fork with an offset of 51mm. 120mm of smooth-yet-efficient dw-link (R) suspension, tuned for trail handling. Compatible with both 29 and 27.5+ wheel sizes.
Class-leading mud and tyre clearance. Ultra-short 430mm chainstays make easy work of the tightest trails. Long-and-low geometry for a confident, stable stance.
Metric-sized Fox Float DPS and DPx2 shock options.
