Vitus Sommet CRX 27.5" Carbon Suspension MTB Frame 2018

Designed for Enduro racing, making it full capable of All Mountain adventures and Downhill sessions.

This performance orientated frame will enable the climbing of any summit with ease before carving back down across the most challenging and technical terrain imaginable.

Efficient, Aggressive and Reliable Performance The Sommet VRS frame has an aggressive, playful geometry and a bottomless, but superbly efficient suspension system that provides exceptional performance on the trails, at the bike park or extreme Enduro races. The Sommet CRX provides agility, reliability and speed, enabling you to focus on the podium; all while being super-light. Supple, Supportive and Progressive The suspension system on the Sommet has been redesigned and the rear travel has been increased to 160mm.

The leverage curve for the new Trunnion shock has been tweaked to be noticeably more supple, supportive and is more progressive as it ramps-up through its travel. Its small bump sensitivity has been enhanced thanks to it being equipped with a super-low friction Metric shock. This is combined with an upper Trunnion bearing shock mount to improve suspension linkage durability and successfully creates a buttery-smooth, supple and responsive ride characteristic, which provides exceptional stability and traction when on the trail.
