The stitching used in these shorts is known as flatlocked - this is designed to give a smooth finish and avoid any chafing on your skin as you pedal. Elastic leg grippers at the leg opening keep a firm but comfortable hold on the thigh - again the focus is on giving you excellent comfort. The lightweight stretch fabric ups comfort levels still further allowing the short to fit perfectly as you pedal.
It also allows your skin to breathe keeping your skin dry, lessening any chance of chafing and hot spots. The bib straps over the shoulders hold the shorts nicely in place, lessening unwanted pressure on your waist and stomach plus creating a nice close fit with your cycle jersey while also covering your core from unwanted draughts.
